Before you pitch, know exactly where your words go. Your audio is processed by ElevenLabs; scoring runs on Anthropic’s Claude. Both operate under data-processing agreements that prohibit training AI models on your content — and we never train on it either. We keep transcripts to power your report card, history, and coaching; they’re visible only to you and never sold. Delete any rehearsal, or everything, yourself from your History page — no email, no waiting.
What we collect
- Your email — when you join the waitlist or request an invite.
- Company & round details and the investor you name — the context you enter so we can build a realistic rehearsal persona.
- Your rehearsal — your spoken pitch is processed in real time to run the session, and a transcript is saved and scored to produce your debrief, in-app history, and coaching.
What your transcripts are for — and what they’re never for
Your transcripts power your features: the emailed report card, your rehearsal history, your score trends, and your coaching. They are never used to train AI models — not ours, and not our providers’, who are contractually barred from it. We do learn from anonymous, aggregate patterns across rehearsals (for example, how founders at a given stage tend to score) to improve scoring quality and the product — never from your identifiable pitch, and never in a way that exposes your content to anyone. If we ever want to use your data beyond this, we will ask you first, explicitly, with the choice to say no.
Who processes it
We use vetted service providers to deliver Pitch Perfect — ElevenLabs (real-time voice), Anthropic (the language models that play the investor and score your pitch), and Resend (email). We operate under data-processing agreements with them and configure them so your rehearsals aren't used to train their models. We also use PostHog for product analytics — page views and feature-usage events only, with text masking on; your audio and transcripts never go there.
Who can see it
Only you. Your rehearsals are private to your account and isolated at the database level. Nothing is shared unless you yourself create a public scorecard link — which shows your scores only (no notes, no company, no investor name) and can be revoked anytime. We never sell your data.
Retention & your control
You can permanently delete any rehearsal — transcript, scores, and debrief — from its debrief page, or delete your entire rehearsal history from the History page. Deletion is immediate in the product: every piece of rehearsal content is erased, with only an anonymous usage record (a timestamp with no content) retained for billing integrity. Residual copies in our encrypted database backups and our email provider's delivery logs age out within 30 days. If a rehearsal was still being scored when you deleted it, its report-card email is cancelled too. To delete your whole account (including your email and company profile), write to hello@traction.llc and we'll confirm within two business days.
